Treasure Coast Aerial Video produces aerial video and photography using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), commonly called drones. As opposed to traditional aerial photography from airplanes or helicopters, UAVs operate at a much lower altitude, which results in higher detail and quality in the recorded images. As such, UAV-based imagery is exceptionally useful for real estate, inspections of hard-to-reach areas (like roofs and towers), and many other situations where a slightly higher aerial perspective is beneficial.
Our aircraft are equipped with high-definition, image-stabilized cameras, allowing detailed photographs and smooth video that can be optimized for clients' needs. Like regular manned aircraft, UAV operations are regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and must adhere to aviation regulations regarding airspace and flight restrictions, weather conditions, equipment, and operator certification. While UAVs operate at low altitudes, they are considered aircraft, and must conform to the airspace regulations at the location from which they operate. For example, a UAV pilot who intends to photograph a house, if that house is close to a large airport, must contact the airport's control tower to get permission for the flight. Additional considerations for the UAV pilot are Temporary Flight Restrictions and meteorological conditions. |
